Introduction
It’s been a bit since I last did an end of month review, but they’ve finally returned. I believe that the last end of month review was back in June. I talk about some of what I’ve been playing and some upcoming blog related plans.
College
This semester has been quite the adjustment. I had not been to in person classes in a year. Luckily my college has masks required inside every building as this pandemic is far from over. Around this time midterms start popping up and nerves start to get to me. I’ve got one today and one next week. Hopefully I do well on them and the rest of the semester goes smoothly. In other news I got a job on campus so I’ve been working on Saturdays.
What I’ve Been Playing
As most of you have seen from Twitter I have been playing Yakuza Like a Dragon and Hades. If you missed my first impression of Yakuza Like a Dragon you can read it here. As of now Hades has been the more enjoyable game for me. So far I’ve completed two runs and I have another run in progress. I’m enjoying the different play styles you can use when playing through each run.
For my two successful runs I used the twin fists. In my current run I’m using the gun. From what I read I have to clear the game ten times to get the true ending. I don’t really mind this as the game is really enjoyable.
Upcoming Posts
The next post that I have lined up is on Hades. I was thinking of it being a first impressions like the Yakuza one, but it might be a larger article. I’ve gotten a pretty good feel for the game and though I’m not done, I feel as though my thoughts are more than just a first impression at this point. I’m aiming to have it done the first week of October.
I had planned on writing an article on Persona’s 25th Anniversary, but that’s being delayed. The reason for that is they haven’t made any announcements on the projects they have been working on. When they release that information then I’ll cover it. Just wanted to keep people updated.

The last person featured for this month is Aywren. She writes for the blog Spot of Mummery and Aywren.com. If you’re looking for some good Final Fantasy XIV content then this is where you should go. I like the stories that she’s been posting about one of her characters Amon. She also posts about other video game content on her other blog. Be sure to visit them if you have the time.
