Hello everyone! I recently started Horizon zero Dawn and wanted to share my thoughts. Bear in mind this will be a short post.
Story
I’m really enjoying the story so far. Each time I wander around I find myself wanting to know more about the world. I’m not too far into the story, but I was already surprised by certain things. I look forward to discovering more about the world as I play the game. I know there are audio logs and holograms to find, so I’ll be looking out for those.
Combat
I am enjoying the combat. I like that you can choose your approach by being stealthy or running right at the enemy. The different traps give a lot of variety to what you can do. I also like being able to see weak spots and how targeting them can cause explosions.
Weapons/Armors
I like the weapon and armor variety. The different weapons allow you to use the play style that you want to. One example is the tripcaster. You can set down a trap and lure enemies into it then run up and attack them after they’ve triggered it. You could also use it to get away if you’re facing against a tough enemy. There is also the Sharpshot Bow that is suited for ranged combat. I use it quite often. I’m also a big fan of the fire arrows that you can use with the regular bow.
Conclusion
I think Horizon Zero Dawn is a great game. I’m looking forward to finishing the rest of it. What do you think of the game? If you comment below do watch what you say as I would like to avoid spoilers. Thanks for reading!
