Collaboration 2

Love Your Backlog: My Backlog

For this collaboration post we have Love Your Backlog from Kim at Later Levels and Genni from Ace Asunder. This post is all about those games you’ve got that you just haven’t gotten around to finishing yet. If you’d like to participate be sure to visit the link in my conclusion to Kim’s post. Before the prompt I’ll list my brief backlog.

The Effect That the 2020 Apocalypse Had on Your Backlog.

When things first started getting bad back in March I slowly eliminated the backlog I had at the time. As things got worse and it didn’t seem like things were getting better I slowly added to my diminished backlog. Right now I have around four games that I need to finish with a fifth one releasing next week.

The Oldest Game in Terms of Release Date

The oldest game I have in my backlog in terms of release date is Final Fantasy VII. I’m playing the version that was ported to the PSN Store. I bought the game back in December but it originally released on the original PlayStation. It’s currently still in my backlog as I just finished disc 1 about two days ago. I’m slowly working my way through it now that it has picked up a little.

A Game You Bought on Day One, Only to Not Play it

The only game that comes to mind for me is Spider-Man Miles Morales. I got it when it first came out but didn’t play it immediately because it came out during my previous semester in college. I ended up playing it a couple of days later. Usually whenever I purchase a game I try to play them as soon as I buy them unless something else comes up.

The Game Which Has Spent the Most Time on Your Backlog

The game that has spent the most time in my backlog is Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2. I think the reason for this is because I like fighting games, but I don’t play them often. I play it every now and then but there are quite a few characters to go through to get through each characters story.

The Most Recent Addition to Your Library

The most recent addition to my library is Persona 5 Strikers. I consider it as added even though it won’t be delivered until next week. I have been waiting for this game since last year. I plan on adding older games in the future as well as new ones. Pokémon Sapphire is also a recent game that I’ve a acquired, but I’ll talk more about that in the future.

The Person Responsible for Adding the Most Entries to Your Backlog, Due to Their Good Recommendations

Nobody has currently added to my current backlog. There are games that people have recommended but I don’t want to buy them until I whittle down what I currently need to get through. I’ll probably be adding more to my backlog when it gets closer to summer.

Can’t wait to get my hands on P5 Strikers next week. Gameplay wise it isn’t something I’d usually pick up but I’m so excited to give it a try and spend more time with those characters ?

Same here, I only got it because I thought I’d enjoy the gameplay more since I like Persona.
