The Sun Shines Once More: Sunshine Blogger Award #2

Hello again everyone and welcome to my second Sunshine Blogger Award post. This time I was nominated by William Robinson. Be sure to check out his blog https://wcrobinson.org/. Without any further delay let’s get into the questions.

Welcome! Let’s start off relatively easy. Are you a morning person, or more nocturnal?

I am more of a nocturnal person. I do not mind waking up in the morning for things like school, but I find myself more active during the night. Sometimes I just watch to some random YouTube videos or play video games for a bit.

In non-lockdown times, where are you most excited to be able to go frequently again?

I would have to say movie theaters. I never went often but I would always find my one to one whenever a Marvel Movie came out. There is something about seeing a movie in theaters that adds to the experience. Sure the snacks are pricey but the atmosphere adds to the experience.

If you could be a fly on the wall for the development process of any game, which would it be?

I would love to be a fly on the wall for the development of The Elder Scrolls VI. I chose this game because I am interested in how Bethesda decides to approach this game. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was a fun game but not without its share of issues. I would also want to see how the magic and environments would look.

Which is the best type of crisp? Explain your reasoning in detail.

The best type in my opinion is Cheddar and Sour Cream. It is just a really good chip flavor. I find it odd because I do not use sour cream in any food or anything but the flavor is great when combined with cheddar. It is usually my go to flavor.

How do you feel about remakes? Are there certain times you feel they are either necessary or unnecessary?

I do not mind remakes, especially for older games. I think that it brings these games back into the light for more people to experience them. One thing I dislike about remakes is like what Square Enix has done with Final Fantasy VII Remake. The original game was split into three discs that all came together, while the remake was only a small portion of part one of the original game. I get they want to remake the game and make it an amazing experience, but it feels weird having to pay $60 each time a part comes out for the full story when the original had all the parts with it.

You can take one item with you on a one-way trip to the far future. Which do you take?

This might sound odd but I would take my debit card with me. I know this is probably a stretch, but just imagine if the bank account I had open was still opened in the future? It would be like the episode in Futurama when Fry becomes a billionaire.

Which game would you most like to see turned into a film?

The one game that I can think of that I would want turned into a film is Spider-Man(2018). I think that it would make for a great Spider-Man movie because we get an experienced Peter Parker that is no longer in high school and is not in college either. It also has a good story and some good character designs.

Same question as I sent out before, to continue this fierce battle: Pancakes or donuts?

I would have to say donuts. I have not had one in a while but I generally prefer them mostly because they can be customized a little more than pancakes. Glazed, cream filled, plain, and many more types are out there. I also like the wacky donuts that some people create. A donut place called Krispy Kreme once made a Cheerwine donut. For those that do not know Cheerwine is a cherry flavored soda. Though the donut was bad, it was at least creative.

Do you prefer built-up urban areas or quieter rural ones?

I prefer rural quite ones. Before I traveled back in 2019 I dd not have a preference, but after my trip was over I found myself missing the quiet. In 2019 I studied abroad in Ireland, with the first city I was in being Doolin. I frequently went on walks with classmates and was able to get some beautiful pictures that would have been hard to get in urban areas.

You can listen to one album for the rest of your life. Which do you choose?

The album I would choose is Walk the Plank from Zebrahead. This is a band that has been around for a good while and the first band I actually listened to. Obviously some songs are better than others, but this album is full of nostalgia for me. I remember it coming out back when I was in my Junior year of high school. One thing I’ll say is that I only listen to the music, I don’t watch the music videos because those are hit or miss.

A word of caution if you plan on listening to their songs, they use language quite often. This song Wore Than This does not contain any language but other songs do. Just wanted to let people know in advance.

I guess one of my strengths is perseverance. Often times when I encounter issues in my blog or homework I continuously try to solve the problem. When I can not solve the problem on my own, I research to find potential solutions.
